A beautiful spell animation is only one part of a working RPG. The player also needs to reach the right person, survive the escort, keep the quest state after saving and arrive at the correct dock after a voyage. Beyond the Horizon's testing tools are being built around those complete journeys as well as individual effects.

The AI Playtester offers implemented chapters and playable quests as selectable journeys. Its local driver walks the real collision maps, talks through ordinary dialogue controls and makes adaptive battle choices. It is a game testing agent with explicit goals and checkpoints, not a remote language model pretending to have played. There are no paid AI calls in the driver, and unbuilt chapters are not quietly reported as passed.

Dialogue speed is adjustable so a run can be reviewed at a comfortable pace. Movement holds a direction while walking rather than repeatedly tapping each step. When a villager is traveling, the driver looks for their current destination and can wait for a bounded arrival while the game clock advances. A stopped clock, failed save or battle defeat still produces an issue; waiting is not permission to ignore a stalled journey.

The developer directory brings 43 tools into one place in the normal local game. It groups testing, map editing, battle effects, story previews, character artwork, exploration, recording and presentation. The live map editor can move and resize objects while exploring an admitted map, with undo and save controls. Isolated previews use temporary rehearsal state so inspecting an effect does not replace a regular journey save.

Recording connects the technical checks to a human review. The local recorder can capture the game window with optional microphone commentary, and game audio is lowered while recording speech so a spoken bug report is easier to hear. Reports and recordings let a problem be reproduced and inspected after the moment has passed. These are development tools for an evolving project: their value is making specific failures visible and fixable, while keeping the ordinary play experience coherent.
