01 / The beginning

He wasn't meant
to wake up here.

Aren dreams of a goddess. When he wakes, his own world is gone—and he's still wearing his pajamas.

In Lear, strangers offer him a place to sleep. His mother's pendant glows blue, pointing toward a land beyond the sea. But the docks are broken, and the builder has turned his back on the town.

Before Aren can answer a goddess's call, he'll have to help a family answer one another.

02 / In the thick of it

Every attack should
feel like something.

Character movement, illustrated cut-ins, impact effects, and bouncing damage numbers give battle its own rhythm.

I

A moment before the impact

Sliding curtains and scrolling character artwork introduce special attacks before the action returns to the battlefield.

II

A hit you can read

Expressive slashes and colorful impact effects make each strike visible. Critical damage arrives bigger, redder, and cracks when it lands.

III

A party with personality

Aren, Bram, Edric, Lina, and Tovin bring their own identities to the journey. A coordinated rival party—the Vision Eyes—has its own place in the developing story.

03 / A light at your side

Meet Ember.
Small flame.
Growing spirit.

Sent to light the way, she becomes Aren's only summon.

Ember begins weak and grows through use. Her appearance and fire effects evolve with her progress, from a little guiding flame to a radiant force on the battlefield.

She lights dark places, hovers beside Aren in battle, and occasionally has something to say about the situation.

04 / Between the battles

A town doesn't
stand still.

Go looking for someone. They might be out living their life.

Lear's residents follow individual routines through the town and its normal surrounding areas. Some return home early; others stay out late. Quest conversations follow the person, so a doorstep, a scout report, or a clue can send you somewhere new.

Day, night, weather, lighting, and the game's depth system change how the world feels as you travel.
